Energy Legal Counsel | Bielefeld
Our client is seeking an Energy Legal Counsel to join a business in the wind energy sector, advising on legal matters across the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects - from development through to repowering - including contract law, planning and environmental law, and M&A.
The role:
→ Advise independently on all legal matters across the full project lifecycle: development, realisation, operation and repowering.
→ Draft, review and negotiate contracts, including purchase, usage and loan agreements.
→ Support M&A transactions in renewables, including company acquisitions, project acquisitions, due diligence and transaction documentation.
→ Advise on corporate law matters, including articles of association, shareholder agreements and capital measures.
What you'll need:
→ Fully qualified German lawyer having completed both state exams. (Zweites Staatsexamen).
→ Professional experience as an in-house lawyer or attorney, with solid grounding in contract and commercial law.
→ Prior exposure to renewable energy law, as well as planning, permitting or environmental law, is an advantage.
