As a working student (d/f/m) in our Solution Development team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with IT/OT projects that support RWE Renewables across the entire value chain, including Onshore Wind, Offshore Wind, Solar, and Battery technologies. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to the ambitious growth plans of RWE's Growing Green Strategy while enhancing your technical expertise in a dynamic and innovative environment. About the role
- Support the design, development, and improvement of modern software applications and services
- Contribute to backend development using .NET / C# or frontend development using React / TypeScript
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, scrum masters, UX/UI experts, and other solution developers
- Assist in debugging, testing, and improving application performance and reliability
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support development and knowledge sharing
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in clean code, testing, and version control
- Support the team in maintaining development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and development tools
Job requirements and experience
- Ongoing studies in the field of Information Technology, Business Information Systems or comparable (with at least twelve more months until you graduate)
- First practical experience in software development (university, personal, or internship projects)
- Backend focus: Basic knowledge of C# / .NET, APIs, databases, or object-oriented programming
or - Frontend focus: Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, or modern web development
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and motivation to learn
- Ability to work independently in an international and collaborative environment
- Confident in speaking and writing in English
