Your Responsibilities

Engage in a High-Impact Team Environment: Thrive within a diverse, international team known for its collaborative spirit and innovation. Together, we’re building E.ON’s trading unit’s quant risk function into a cutting-edge operation.

Develop Foundational Expertise: Gain exposure to quant risk, business, and technology domains through guided tasks and mentorship. Support senior team members in research, data analysis, and routine model validation activities.

Contribute to Technology Projects: Assist in developing and testing small-scale solutions using MS Azure and Python under supervision. Help with code reviews, debugging, and documentation to learn best practices in model development.

Support Cloud Infrastructure Maintenance: Help monitor and maintain MS Azure cloud infrastructure by performing routine checks and updates. Learn about deployment pipelines and data management through hands-on tasks assigned by senior staff.

Assist in Quantitative Risk Modeling: Participate in data collection, cleaning, and preliminary analysis for quantitative risk models. Shadow experienced quants to understand advanced statistical and mathematical techniques.

Help Develop Tools and Applications: Contribute to the creation and improvement of APIs and ETL pipelines by handling basic coding tasks and testing. Support enhancements to the Streamlit landing page by adding simple features or fixing minor bugs.

Participate in Digital Transformation Initiatives: Take part in workshops and training sessions focused on cloud-native risk management tools. Assist with documentation and user feedback collection for new digital platforms.
Your Profile

You are currently enrolled at university in Quantitative Finance, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline

You have experiences and strong interest in Python and cloud solutions development with MS Azure
- Good understanding of European energy markets/management or trading strategies are a plus

Analytical, problem-solving and communication skills complete your profil
