About the role

Work with RWEST's reporting hub and support us in making our finance department more efficient through digital solutions. As a Working Student in Controlling Process & Data Analytics, you'll step into a dynamic environment where technical innovation and hands-on impact go hand-in-hand with meaningful career development.

You'll have the unique chance to shape our process landscape, leverage the latest technologies, and work alongside colleagues who value growth, collaboration, and creativity. • Analyse existing Controlling processes to find and unlock improvement opportunities
• Develop solutions to automate and simplify major processes
• Design and build new data products that drive process innovation
• Use modern BI tools such as Databricks or Power BI for hands-on data analysis
• Apply programming skills (Python, SQL) to deliver actionable insights
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders, taking ownership to drive projects towards a state-of-the-art work environment

Job requirements and experience

• First practical experience in data analysis and within complex process landscapes
• Hands-on knowledge of a programming language such as Python, plus data handling using SQL
• Strong analytical mindset and a genuine team player, ready to contribute and learn
• Able to take ownership - solving complex problems independently while remaining open to feedback and new perspectives

Advantageous, but not essential

• Previous experience in Controlling or other data-intensive fields
• Familiarity with the Databricks platform
• Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
