The Team - your impact

You will be responsible for the Windows Client Product “Modern Workplace,” serving over 70,000 employees across the E.ON organization.This role is key to our mission in delivering a modern, efficient and secure Windows client environment, ensuring a seamless experience for end users while steering endpoint management strategies in collaboration with technical teams. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will steer, shape and evolve the product, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to maintain and enhance the Windows client experience.Your expertise will be instrumental in client deployment, security, application management and managed browser solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and IT strategies. This role is key to delivering a modern, efficient and secure Windows client environment, ensuring a seamless experience for end users while steering endpoint management strategies in collaboration with technical teams.

Your Role - meaningful & rewarding
• Develop the Windows Client product, ensuring security, stability and user satisfaction.
• Define strategies for the Windows client security, application management, collaborating with Endpoint Management teams for execution.
• Ensure an optimal user experience by driving improvements in device performance, reliability and software availability.
• Oversee OS deployment processes (e.g., driver management, imaging strategies, automated provisioning) and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Steer and coordinate managed application delivery, including packaging, distribution and lifecycle management.
• Define and govern security standards for Windows clients, covering Defender for Endpoint, conditional access, BitLocker and managed browsers.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards, while balancing security and usability.
• Analyze new Windows features and technologies, managing their adoption within the organization.
• Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Security, Networking, Architecture, Support) and external service providers, ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Windows Client Services, providing guidance and best practices across the organization.

Your Profile´- authentic & open-minded
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, with several years of experience in Windows client services, endpoint security and application management.
• Strong expertise in Windows Client Design, including Policy Management, user experience optimization and performance tuning.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Endpoint Management (Intune) to steer and collaborate with configuration teams.
• Experience with client security, including Windows Defender, conditional access, BitLocker and attack surface reduction.
• Knowledge of application management, including software packaging, deployment processes and enterprise application lifecycle.
• Familiarity with network security concepts, managed browsers (Edge & Chrome) and Zero Trust architecture.
• Excellent communication skills in English (optional German) and with the ability to coordinate across teams and service providers.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-102) or SC-900 are a plus
