Position Overview:

They are seeking an experienced and highly motivated M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost management and ensure the financial success of our large-scale data centre projects. As a key member of our team, you will bring your expertise to manage project costs, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve optimal financial outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the M&E quantity surveying functions on high-value data centre projects.
  • Prepare, monitor, and control budgets and cost plans.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and forecasting.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Evaluate and manage project risks and provide strategic financial advice.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in cost management processes.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional membership with RICS or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying, preferably with experience in data centre projects.
  • Strong understanding of M&E systems and their cost implications.
  • Proven track record of managing high-value projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant quantity surveying software and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
