Position Overview:
They are seeking an experienced and highly motivated M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost management and ensure the financial success of our large-scale data centre projects. As a key member of our team, you will bring your expertise to manage project costs, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve optimal financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the M&E quantity surveying functions on high-value data centre projects.
- Prepare, monitor, and control budgets and cost plans.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and forecasting.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Evaluate and manage project risks and provide strategic financial advice.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in cost management processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional membership with RICS or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying, preferably with experience in data centre projects.
- Strong understanding of M&E systems and their cost implications.
- Proven track record of managing high-value projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant quantity surveying software and tools.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
