Your Responsibilities:
- Providing data protection advice for selected companies within the EIS segment while partially assuming the role of data protection officer
- Continuation and improvement of a data protection management system for selected companies (PDCA cycle)
- Processing enquiries, requests for information and complaints from contractual partners, customers, employees (if applicable) and data protection authorities
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts with relevance to data protection law
- Collaborating on the creation and updating of Group-wide guidelines and specifications
- Ensuring the documentation of data protection-relevant processing procedures
- Provision of risk analyses relevant to data protection
Your Profile:
- Fully qualified lawyer or university degree in (commercial) law with several years of relevant professional experience in data protection law
- Good knowledge of data protection law and other relevant legal standards as well as an affinity for legal processes and working methods
- Experience in basic processes and IT systems (preferably in the energy industry)
- Strong IT affinity, interest in technical developments and their legal guidelines
- Analytical thinking and a methodical, structured approach
- Ability to work independently, flexibility and high social and intercultural competence
- Excellent written and verbal communication, moderation and presentation skills as well as business fluent written and spoken English
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips at home and abroad
