By joining us, you will play a critical role in keeping E.ON's SAP architecture and capabilities modern, secure and excellent.
Your Role – meaningful & rewarding
As a SAP Engineer and BTP Developer (f/m/d) at E.ON, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining frontend solutions for our SAP system landscape based on the Business Technology Platform (BTP). You will work closely with the SAP DevOps teams as well as the business stakeholders to ensure the provisioning of modern, user-friendly, state-of-the-art user interfaces.
- Design scalable, modular solutions on the S/4HANA platform, aligning with SAP best practices and system architecture standards
- Develop complex applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), Core Data Services (CDS)
- Ensure adherence to development standards, code reviews, and unit testing for maintainable and high-quality deliverables
- Support DevOps practices including transport management, version control, and automation pipelines for S/4HANA development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional, BASIS, security) and mentor junior developers on S/4HANA technologies
- Stay informed about the latest SAP technology, especially around SAP Extensibility Framework as well as concepts like “Clean Core”
Your Profile – authentic & open-minded
- Extensive experience working with SAP Business Technology Platform and related technologies and designing and optimizing complex ABAP solutions in S/4HANA
- Strong experience with Core Data Services (CDS)
- Hands-on with SAP S/4HANA Extensibility Framework, ABAP OO, ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience in usage of quality tools like ATC Check
- Familiarity with SAP security concepts and role-based permissions
- Fluent in English and German with excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
