Project Manager for EPC projects (BESS / STATCOM) (m/w/d)
PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage cross-functional teams in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) on large scale Battery Storage and STATCOM projects.
Represent Nidec to customers and third parties: Communicate and meet with customers and suppliers through the life of each project.
Ensure compliance with public regulations.
Full project responsibility for contractual requirements, milestones and criticalities under consideration of schedule, under budget and customer expectations.
Prepare and present reporting of progress and financials of your projects.
Manage risks and develop strategies for mitigation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Qualification
strong electrical background
beneficial: project management certification
Experience
3+ years direct experience in large scale project management (energy and / or industry).
Experience with Electrical, Controls, and Power Electronic applications will be a plus.
Coordination, support and optimization of planning under building law, including obtaining the necessary permits, cooperation with local authorities
Contract management: negotiation, conclusion and execution of project-related contracts (e.g. EPC contracts)
Project management tools experience -MS Projects, Smart Sheet
Languages
Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
