An innovative battery recycling scale-up is looking for a Chemical Laboratory Technician to support laboratory research, process development and the optimisation of hydrometallurgical recycling technologies.
The role
- Independently plan and conduct laboratory trials and chemical experiments.
- Document experimental procedures, measurement results and evaluations accurately.
- Analyse results, investigate errors and support chemical process optimisation.
- Operate, monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and experimental setups.
- Support pilot-plant activities and collaborate with research, development and production teams.
- Prepare samples for analytical testing.
- Maintain high laboratory safety and quality standards.
- Suggest improvements to laboratory methods, workflows and processes.
Your background
- Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemielaborant/in or an equivalent qualification.
- Several years of practical chemical laboratory experience.
- Confident operating standard laboratory equipment.
- Experience documenting experiments and supporting the evaluation of results.
- Exposure to ICP, ion chromatography or other analytical techniques would be advantageous.
- Independent, responsible and safety-conscious working style.
- Good German and English skills.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
