YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS DIVERSE AS OUR PRODUCTS:

For over 130 years, NORDSEE has been delighting customers with fresh fish specialities and offering a work environment where fun and diversity are just as essential to the team as our Backfisch is to a bread roll. Our fish makes us unique – just like the people who work with us.

Does your heart beat for the NORDSEE brand too? Then come on board!

To strengthen our Buyer team, we are looking for a Junior Buyer (m/w/d) in North Germany!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS DIVERSE AS OUR PRODUCTS:

  • You will manage the operational procurement process, from order placement through to the successful availability of goods.
  • You will be independently responsible for selected product groups and will work with the category buyers to develop them further.
  • You will support tendering processes and supplier negotiations, and will gradually take on greater responsibility for leading negotiations.
  • You will analyse demand, plan volumes and ensure optimal stock levels throughout the supply chain.
  • You will ensure delivery capability and work closely with international suppliers, logistics partners and internal stakeholders.
  • You will produce insightful analyses and reports that serve as the basis for strategic procurement decisions.

IN ADDITION TO ENJOYING FISH, YOU HAVE:

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or degree (Business Administration, Retail, Food or Supply Chain Management, or similar)
  • Initial professional experience (approx. 1–2 years) or relevant work placements or part-time student work in procurement, category management or supply chain
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, references, analysing large datasets)
  • An affinity for numbers and data, with a basic understanding of costing and pricing structures
  • Good written and spoken English; knowledge of German would be an advantage
  • A structured, meticulous and punctual approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for collaborating with internal and external partners
  • Proactive approach, a hands-on mentality and a strong willingness to learn
  • Analytical thinking and a solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to cope with pressure and reliability, even during promotional and seasonal peaks

WHY JOIN US ON OUR JOURNEY?

  • A responsible and varied role with plenty of scope for creativity
  • Flexitime and a hybrid working model for more personalised planning
  • Attractive remuneration, including comprehensive employee benefits
  • Immediate, confidential support for you and your family with personal and professional challenges, provided by our partner Talingo EAP
  • Corporate Benefits with attractive perks and much more

We look forward to receiving your application including your CV, salary expectation and earliest possible starting date.
