About the Role


We are looking for a motivated and highly organized Management Trainee to join our CEO Office. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the management and operation of an international European patent law firm.


Working directly with the CEO, you will be involved not only in executive support but also in business operations, project coordination, process optimization, and strategic initiatives. You will gain valuable insights into how a professional services firm is managed while developing practical management and organizational skills.


This position is ideal for candidates who aspire to pursue a future career in management, business operations, consulting, or professional services.


Key Responsibilities


As a Management Trainee, you will support the CEO and management team in a wide range of activities, including:

  • Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements
  • Preparing reports, presentations, meeting materials, and business correspondence
  • Supporting office administration and daily business operations
  • Coordinating internal communication and cross-functional projects
  • Assisting with workflow optimization and quality management initiatives
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and HR-related administrative activities
  • Participating in business development and strategic planning projects
  • Assisting with KPI reporting, data analysis, and management documentation
  • Supporting digitalization initiatives and the implementation of AI-assisted workflows
  • Performing research and preparing background materials for management decisions


Who We Are Looking For

You should have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree (or be currently enrolled) in Business Administration, Management, Law, Economics, International Business, or a related discipline
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with AI and digital productivity tools is a plus
  • Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage but are not essential

Previous experience in intellectual property is not required. Comprehensive training will be provided
