The Commercial Hybrid Account Manager & Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for driving profitable growth across assigned accounts and territory through a balanced mix of inside sales, virtual engagement, and in-person customer interaction. This role focuses on lead qualification, opportunity development, account expansion, and deal execution across Genomic Medicine and related portfolios, leveraging a multi-channel sales approach. This function would contain both own accounts and also act as support function to wider sales organization.
This position reports to the Genomic Medicine Commercial Zone Leader EMEA and is part of the Commercial team located in Germany and will be fully remote.
What you’ll do
- Own and execute account-specific business plans, including opportunity development, relationship mapping, and competitive positioning from discovery through deal close
- Manage and grow a healthy sales pipeline, taking accountability for bookings, conversion rates, and speed to close against quarterly and annual targets
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities using inbound and outbound sales activities across assigned accounts and territory
- Prepare proposals, generate accurate quotes, negotiate terms, and finalize product and solution specifications with customer stakeholders for own accounts or other accounts anywhere in the EMEA region including tender support.
- Serve as the primary customer point of contact, coordinating internally to ensure timely order processing, delivery updates, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with field sales and technical specialists to position Cytiva aligned to customer workflows and business goals
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of commercial sales experience in biotechnology, life sciences, or a closely related industry is preferable
- Strong understanding of sales fundamentals, including pipeline management, lead qualification, cross-selling, and value-based selling
- Confident communicator with the ability to uncover customer needs and articulate technical value in clear business terms
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Based in Germany with the ability and willingness to travel regionally (approximately 40%, in Germany or elsewhere within Europe)
- Fluent in German and English
