Business Development Manager
NEW OPPORTUNITY | DACH DATA CENTRE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
€85,000 Base + 25% Bonus + Company Car / Car Allowance
Location: DACH Region | Wider EMEA exposure
I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Data Centre Business Development Manager to take responsibility for developing new business across the DACH Data Centre market.
This is a high-impact commercial role for someone who understands the Data Centre industry, knows the project lifecycle and has the relationships to engage with key customers and decision makers.
THE BACKGROUND WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're particularly interested in candidates who have sold technical products, solutions or services such as:
- UPS / Critical Power
- BMS / Building Management Systems
- Lighting
- Cables / Cabling Solutions
- Switchgear
- Power Distribution
- Electrical Infrastructure
- M&E Solutions
- Data Centre Infrastructure
You don't need experience across every category.
What matters most is your Data Centre experience, customer network and ability to develop new business.
THE ROLE
You'll be responsible for:
- Developing new Data Centre opportunities across DACH
- Building relationships with Data Centre operators, developers, consultants, EPCs, contractors and M&E specialists
- Identifying projects at the early design and specification stage
- Influencing projects and positioning solutions throughout the project lifecycle
- Developing strategic accounts and long-term customer relationships
- Identifying new markets, customers and revenue opportunities
- Managing major commercial opportunities from identification through to close
- Working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams
- Supporting strategic projects across wider EMEA
WHO I'M LOOKING FOR
- Proven Data Centre sales or business development experience
- Strong network across the DACH Data Centre market
- Experience selling technical products or solutions
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Ability to engage with senior decision makers
- Proven track record of winning and developing new business
- Fluent German and strong English
- Willingness to travel across DACH and wider EMEA
THE PACKAGE
€85,000 base salary
25% annual bonus
Company car or car allowance
