Business Area Expert Field Service PLM360/S4 (f/m/d)

You translate the realities of global Field Service into scalable digital processes. Working with business stakeholders, process owners and the PLM360 program, you guide Fit/Gap decisions, challenge solution concepts, validate business readiness and provide the clear business judgement needed for successful deployment. Your work safeguards operational relevance while enabling greater standardization across regions.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Own and represent Field Service business-process expertise within PLM360 and related transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the global PLM framework.
- Lead or facilitate Fit/Gap assessments and translate operational needs into clear, testable business requirements.
- Validate solution direction, process design, migration impacts, and deployment readiness from a business perspective, providing formal approval and documentation.
- Connect operational Field Service experts, digital teams and program leadership to resolve cross-functional process issues.
- Support testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare with high-quality business decisions and rapid issue clarification.
- Build reusable process documentation and transfer critical knowledge to reduce key-person dependencies and prepare future transformation waves.
What You Bring
- Degree in engineering, business informatics, industrial engineering, business administration or a comparable discipline
- Long-term professional experience, including substantial exposure to international Field Service operations or service transformation
- Extensive end-to-end knowledge of Field Service processes, ideally including service execution, maintenance, resource planning, and operational performance, with experience in complex ERP, PLM, or digital transformation programs
- Strong skills in defining business requirements, process harmonization, Fit/Gap analysis, testing, and business acceptance
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as PLM, SAP, Salesforce Field Service, or similar solutions, with the ability to assess operational, data, and integration impacts while prioritizing business value and user needs
- Fluent in professional English, with confidence in collaborating across cultures, functions, and seniority levels; willingness to travel internationally for workshops and operational validation
About the Team
Our Gas Services team offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
