The Team – your impact
Our team delivers a ready-to-use, state-of-the art Web Experience platform to the whole E.ON group. The fully supported platform allow stakeholders to easily build appealing use cases for their customers - always in line with E.ON's corporate design and architecture, reliable, scalable and secure. It is based on market-leading technology Adobe Experience Manager and platform plays a crucial role in supporting the digital presence of the E.ON group and enables efficient management and delivery of web content.
We are seeking an experienced AEM Application Engineer with a strong focus on DevOps experience to join our team. This hybrid role combines Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) administration expertise with modern DevOps practices and technologies to deliver a secure, scalable, and high-performing digital experience platform.
As an AEM Application Engineer, you will be responsible for managing AEM instances, designing deployment pipelines, and automating infrastructure provisioning. You’ll work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments, optimized workflows, and proactive system reliability.
Your Role – meaningful & rewarding
- Configure and manage AEM environments (author, publish, dispatcher).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
- Manage user and group permissions within AEM for secure access control.
- Monitor and troubleshoot AEM performance, infrastructure, and application issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and delivery cycles.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of AEM and its integrated infrastructure.
Your Profile – authentic & open-minded
- Profound and long-term experience in AEM administration with a strong focus on DevOps
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager configuration, deployment, and optimization
- Expertise with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven, GitLab CI, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, Docker
- Proficiency in cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP
- Skilled in infrastructure as code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes
- Solid scripting knowledge in Shell, YAML, Groovy, or Python
- Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills
