Our Central Procurement Transformation and Procurement Excellence team within RWE Offshore Wind GmbH is looking for a Senior Project Manager eProcurement Implementation.

As Senior Project Manager eProcurement Implementation, you will ensure the progress and completed project of the eProcurement implementation on a global level. This includes the steering of external and internal parties and workstreams and regular reporting to the Sounding Board and Steering Committee.

Your future plans

  • Manage the rollout of the eProcurement suite implementation across all RWE Operating Companies and for all eProcurement modules in scope (Sourcing, Supplier Management, etc.) together with our internal project lead
  • Oversee the progress within different functional and technical workstreams, create impact management/ communication & training
  • Actively maintain and coordinate dependencies between workstreams as well as collaborate and professionally influence internal stakeholders across the different workstreams
  • Steer involved external parties (eProcurement provider, technical implementation partner) with regards to deliverables, timeline and budget
  • Plan and monitor progress and achievements related to key milestones and critical paths
  • Develop and continuously improve project set-up in terms of project organization, collaboration structures, project monitoring and reporting
  • Coordinate and prepare meetings, project documentation & regular reporting to the Steering Committee and the project Sounding Board
  • Act as an inspiring, motivating leader and coach for project team members

Your profile

  • Excellent completed university degree in industrial engineering, management, economics, business informatics or a comparable degree
  • Advanced and proven experience in project management and presenting skills, preferably several years of experience in the context of large-scale digitization projects - certified project management skills are a positive attribute
  • Experience and expertise with eProcurement solutions and largescale IT implementation projects
  • Profound professional work experience in purchasing topics and in dealing with complex procurement processes and systems (E2E)
  • Consulting skillset and comprehensive presenting skills with the ability to explain complex project details in a straightforward way
  • Expertise in the energy industry confers a benefit
  • Highly independent, systematic, quality- and goal-oriented approach to work as well as broad methodological skills
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and coach project team members and stakeholders e.g., functional mgmt., sourcing teams, requesters, etc.
  • Experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships as well as high team-orientation and social competence
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support project delivery
