Werkstudent:in Growth & Community Marketing (m/w/d)

VeröffentlichtVeröffentlicht: Heute

We are looking for a Working Student Growth & Community Marketing to join our team in Hamburg from October. The role is 20 hours per week and pays €17 per hour.

Soap is a social map app that helps people stay connected, organize communities and plan activities together. Instead of keeping people inside an endless feed, we want to make it easier for them to meet in real life.

In this role, you will work closely with us on launching and growing Soap in Hamburg. You will help shape our marketing and growth strategy, turn ideas into concrete campaigns and find new ways to reach the right communities.

A big part of the role is real community work. You will get in touch with student groups, Erasmus communities, residences, language schools and other local groups, support communities inside the app and talk directly to users to understand what they need.

You will also help build our Instagram presence, create Reels, Stories and other content and ideally feel comfortable appearing in front of the camera yourself. We want someone who is not only interested in planning marketing, but also enjoys going out, meeting people and representing Soap in real life.

We are looking for someone who is open, communicative and genuinely excited about building something from the beginning. You should be able to work independently, bring your own ideas and take responsibility for them.

Very good German is important. Good English is a strong plus because part of our community is international.

Previous experience in marketing or social media is helpful, but not the most important thing for us. We care more about initiative, creativity, reliability and genuine interest in Soap.

For your application, please send us your CV and a short cover letter. We would also like to hear a few thoughts on how you would approach marketing a new social app like Soap in Hamburg. A few sentences about target groups, channels, community ideas or a first campaign idea are enough.

We are not looking for a perfect strategy. We simply want to understand how you think and what you would bring to the team.

We’d be excited to welcome you to the team and build Soap together.
