Vice President of Product Management
VP Product, PE-backed SaaS company, Germany - generous equity plan.
We are retained to hire a VP Product for our client: a very well-established, Germany based SaaS business that has recently secured significant Private Equity investment.
This is an incredible opportunity.
The company has a clear strategic direction, centred on modernising and hardening its core platform, and on a genuine AI agentification programme. This is not a chatbot layer. It is a structural shift in how the product delivers value, with the potential to reset the competitive standard in its market.
The business is not a new entrant chasing an AI narrative. It is one of the most established SaaS companies in Germany, and this transition carries the backing of leadership, the investment firm, and its existing customer base.
The VP Product will partner closely with the VP Engineering and CTO to deliver the roadmap, leading a team of 20 Product Managers through the transition.
Experience required:
- A track record in complex SaaS environments
- Proven leadership in developing Product Managers and Product Owners
- Strong commercial acumen, particularly around pricing strategy
- Fluency with AI tooling in product workflows; direct experience building agentic AI solutions is an advantage
- Fluent German (written and verbal), with the confidence to engage C-suite stakeholders on product and roadmap decisions
This is a defined transformation mandate at a company with the scale and market position to make it count. Within three years, the successful candidate will have led the agentification of one of Europe's established SaaS platforms.
