Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Technical Field Advisors (TFAs) with strong SGT experience to support major power generation projects internationally.
The TFA will provide technical leadership and field support during the installation of SGT equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical supervision and guidance during SGT installation
- Support gas turbine inspection, outage, overhaul and refurbishment works
- Lead and supervise mechanical activities in accordance with OEM procedures and project requirements
- Provide technical support during start-up, testing and commissioning
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues on SGT equipment
- Coordinate with site management, commissioning teams, engineers, technicians and subcontractors
- Review technical drawings, procedures, specifications and work packages
- Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with project quality standards
- Produce field reports, technical documentation and progress updates
- Support punch-list closeout and handover activities
Required Experience
- Proven experience working as a Technical Field Advisor / Field Service Engineer / Field Service Specialist
- Strong hands-on experience with SGT equipment
- Previous experience supporting installation, commissioning, maintenance or major outages
- Good understanding of gas turbine mechanical systems and associated auxiliary equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capability
- Experience working on international power generation projects
- Ability to lead and supervise site teams
- Strong understanding of site HSE and quality requirements
- Able and willing to travel internationally for project assignments
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working directly for an OEM or major turbine service provider
- Experience across multiple SGT turbine models
- Major inspection / overhaul experience
- Commissioning and start-up experience
- Experience working on combined-cycle or open-cycle power generation projects
