Technical Project Manager (requires SW and/or HW experience)
This company develops and manufactures advanced unmanned aerial systems that help protect people and critical infrastructure. Combining aerospace engineering, software development, electronics, and manufacturing to build reliable, operator-focused systems designed for real-world deployment.
Now they are looking for a Technical Project Manager who can drive complex cross-functional projects from concept through deployment.
Your Mission
As Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering strategic engineering and product development projects across hardware, software, electronics, manufacturing, and operations.
You will work closely with engineering, production, leadership, suppliers, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional technical projects throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and risk registers.
- Coordinate activities between software, electronics, mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing, and operations teams.
- Drive execution and remove blockers to ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and communicate status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.
- Support product development programs from prototype through serial production.
- Coordinate testing, validation, certification, and deployment activities.
- Manage external suppliers, development partners, and subcontractors where required.
- Establish and continuously improve project management processes, tools, and reporting structures.
- Ensure alignment between technical requirements, customer expectations, and business objectives.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience integrating hardware and software in a complex environment
- 2+ years of experience managing technical or engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of hardware and software development processes (e.g. Robotics)
- Experience in a hyper-fast paced environment where demand for new product and release of product updates is maximum every 1-2 years.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Linear, Asana, or similar.
- Fluent English required
