🚗 Autonomous Driving Technical Lead
We’re looking for an Autonomous Driving Technical Lead to join a team developing a Level 4 autonomous driving software stack for type approval.
📍 Hybrid mode: 2/3 days every 2 weeks working in Fribourg, Switzerland
🔹 What you’ll do:
• Analyze complex issues across perception, localization, sensor fusion, prediction, planning, and vehicle interfaces
• Review architecture, algorithms, code, logs, sensor data, simulations, and vehicle behavior
• Develop prototypes and PoCs to validate technical solutions
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, architecture discussions, and troubleshooting sessions
• Identify technical risks and drive issues toward sustainable solutions
• Support integration and release readiness, including KPIs for accuracy, latency, performance, and robustness
🔹 What we’re looking for:
• Strong hands-on experience in Autonomous Driving / ADAS
• Deep understanding of areas such as perception, sensor fusion, SLAM, HD mapping, object detection & tracking, prediction, and motion planning
• Experience with production-grade autonomous driving software and system integration
• Knowledge of point-cloud processing, trajectory optimization, ML-based perception, transformers, or occupancy networks
• Experience with testing and validation in simulation and real vehicles
• Excellent English communication skills
• Willingness to travel periodically for on-site collaboration and vehicle testing
