MasterSearch is currently recruiting on behalf of an established international technology company specialising in process analytics, environmental monitoring and measurement technology. The company develops and supplies advanced solutions for gas, water and wastewater analysis and supports customers across a range of industrial and environmental applications.
We are looking for an experienced Service Technician / Engineer to join their team in Bavaria, Germany. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled professional who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with customers and travelling to different sites.
Main Responsibilities;
- You will be responsible for the technical support and maintenance of online measurement and gas-analysis systems at their customers' premises and in infrastructure facilities in Bavaria.
- You will carry out service assignments in various locations in Bavaria. Sometimes supporting in other areas if required but only as cover for vacations or illness
- You will independently carry out troubleshooting, maintenance and analysis, including documentation.
- The support of customers and customer-service assignments are also part of your responsibilities.
- Customer-oriented problem solving requires close cooperation with the service team.
- You will be responsible for the entire service assignment, from customer coordination through to completion.
- You plan your service assignments independently and have a high degree of self-management.
Profile;
- You have successfully completed technical training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in the field of measurement and analytical technology is an advantage
- A good understanding of technical processes and measurement technology, as well as experience with online water and gas-analysis systems would be beneficial
- You have good knowledge of chemistry or electrical engineering and software and are able to identify technical errors.
- Good PC and software knowledge, preferably experience with configuration software, is an advantage.
- You have a high degree of personal responsibility, flexibility, commitment, willingness to travel and an independent working style.
Languages;
- Very good German-language skills and good English skills are required; knowledge of additional foreign languages is an advantage.
