As the Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the Industrial Division's extensive portfolio of Products in the EMEA territory through the development of existing and new accounts. Curtiss-Wright Industrial Division includes products sold under the Arens, Williams Controls and Penny & Giles Controls brands. Location: Remote within Europe (approx 30-40% travel) Your Challenge: * Profitably grow sales of Curtiss-Wright's Industrial Products in the On-Highway market, including but not limited to shifters, ETC's, and Power Electronics (Inverters). * Develop and implement the sales strategy within the On Highway market, defining target customers and plans to capture and retain business. * Develop an active pipeline of new business opportunities and convert these opportunities into new revenue streams (i.e., Design Wins). * Position Curtiss-Wright as the leading supplier of the defined products within the market and territory. * Develop relationships with major OEMs leading to access to projects and new business programs. * Maintain relationships with Key Accounts to ensure continuation of favourable business relationships and seek to extend our reach to cover all key decision makers within each account. * Work effectively with Product/Business Development Managers to design and execute sales initiatives. * Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual sales performance across the assigned territory. * As Key Account lead for a major On- and Off-Highway OEM, manage all aspects of the Key Account, including overseeing inputs from other Sales Team members globally. * Actively work to develop the professionalism and skill sets of your team members by creating and executing development plans for each individual. * In addition, this role will have lead Key Account responsibility worldwide for a major On- and Off-Highway OEM. * Provide technical, application, product and sales support to our customers. * Liaise with Customers and Representatives to select suitable products for applications. This may also involve the development of new products and in working with the Engineering teams during projects. * Where appropriate, participate as part of an integrated project team in the design and development of the Company's products. Your Expertise: * Relevant technical sales experience, a proven record of accomplishment in the designated market sectors and the ability to demonstrate competence to carry out the requirements of the role successfully. * Experience in strategically managing large Key Accounts. * Proven sales background and the delivering against financial targets. * Must be fluent in German and English. * Technical competence with an engineering background. * Team Player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate confidently and persuasively with a wide variety of people, up to very senior levels. * Must be prepared to travel frequently as required (approx. 30-40%). * Able to undertake all activities in a disciplined and professional manner. * Excellent organisational skills, the ability to meet deadlines and to work under pressure. * Highly self-motivated and the ability to work without supervision. The Penny & Giles product range comprises a broad selection of joysticks, sensors and solenoids for use on commercial vehicles and industrial equipment. PG Drives Technology products comprise AC and DC motor controllers and systems for mobility and other small electric vehicles. Williams Controls products comprise of electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic throttle controls, configurable joysticks, adjustable pedal systems, sensors, hand controls and armrest systems for use on all types of commercial vehicles.
