Our client is a leading and well established consumer health organisation, recognised for delivering trusted products that support the health and wellbeing of millions of consumers worldwide. With continued investment in growth and innovation, they are looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter to join their talent acquisition team on a freelance/contract basis and help attract exceptional talent across key business functions.

The Opportunity
As a Senior Recruiter, you will own the full recruitment lifecycle across a diverse range of professional, specialist, and operational roles. Working closely with hiring managers and business leaders, you will provide expert recruitment guidance, build strong talent pipelines, and develop sourcing strategies that support the organisation's growth ambitions.
This is a freelance/contractor engagement, paid on a daily or hourly rate, requiring a minimum of 3 days a week dedicated to this client. The initial engagement is expected to run at least 6 months, more likely 12. You will need to be on site in Munich 3 times a week, and experience managing labor councils in Germany is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end to end recruitment processes across a variety of functions and seniority levels.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce planning needs and advise on effective hiring strategies.
- Develop and execute direct sourcing initiatives to attract high quality talent.
- Conduct candidate screening, competency based interviews, and assessment activities.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
- Utilise market insights and recruitment data to support hiring decisions and improve recruitment effectiveness.
- Deliver a best in class candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.
- Ensure recruitment activities are compliant with relevant employment legislation and company policies, including experience navigating labor council processes in Germany.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to drive continuous improvement across recruitment processes.
About You, Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in agency, RPO, or in house recruitment, ideally operating at Senior Recruiter level.
- Available on a freelance/contractor basis, paid on a daily or hourly rate, for a minimum of 3 days a week.
- Able to commit to an initial 6 to 12 month engagement.
- Able to be on site in Munich 3 times a week.
- Demonstrated experience managing labor councils in Germany.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple recruitment campaigns across a variety of business functions.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
- Experience sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other direct sourcing channels.
- Excellent interviewing, assessment, and candidate evaluation capabilities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders and candidates alike.
Desirable
- Experience recruiting within consumer health, FMCG, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or other regulated environments.
- Knowledge of current talent market trends and sourcing strategies.
- Experience working within a global or matrix organisation.
- Exposure to employer branding, talent mapping, and workforce planning initiatives.
