The opportunity
We are looking for experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to support the commercial delivery of large-scale construction and data centre projects across Germany.
This role plays a key part in the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account — supporting cost control, subcontractor management, procurement and commercial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Opportunities are available across both CSA and MEP project scopes.
You’ll work closely with project delivery teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, commercially and in line with contractual requirements.
What you’ll be doing
• Managing the commercial delivery of construction packages throughout the project lifecycle
• Preparing and managing valuations, variations, cost reports and final accounts
• Supporting procurement activities, subcontractor negotiations and package management
• Monitoring project budgets, forecasts and commercial performance
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
• Supporting contract administration and ensuring contractual compliance
• Working closely with project teams to support successful project delivery
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders throughout delivery phases
• Supporting commercial reporting and project cost management activities
• Assisting in mentoring junior commercial team members where required
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for commercially aware professionals with strong organisational skills, construction knowledge and experience working within fast-paced project environments.
You should be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, supporting commercial processes and contributing to the successful delivery of technically complex construction projects.
This role would suit someone with experience in data centres, mission critical, industrial or large-scale construction projects.
What helps
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related commercial/construction discipline
• Experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor position
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
• Experience working within CSA and/or MEP project environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with commercial reporting software is beneficial
