We are currently looking for an experienced Risk Manager (m/f/d) to join our client in Hamburg, starting as soon as possible.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for Risk Management across several major construction and infrastructure projects, covering the full project lifecycle from bidding and FID through design, manufacturing and construction.
- Drive the identification, evaluation, mitigation and escalation of project risks to the Project SteerCo and Finance Director.
- Lead the management of all project-related risks and opportunities.
- Ensure that risk management activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s established processes and procedures.
- Provide QRA inputs for monthly reporting, contingency assessments and business case assurance.
Key Deliverables
- Maintain updated package and project risk values in accordance with monthly reporting deadlines.
- Facilitate Project Risk Workshops and Stress Test Workshops.
- Carry out scenario assessments, what-if analysis and Schedule Risk Analysis.
- Keep project risk registers accurate, complete and regularly updated.
- Report QRA results and potential project contingency requirements to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of major construction and infrastructure projects.
- Extensive experience in project risk management.
- Solid understanding of risk management tools such as SAFRAN and Active Risk Manager.
- Previous experience managing risk on major construction or civil engineering projects across design, manufacturing and construction phases.
- Practical experience with Schedule Risk Analysis, Stress Testing, Pre-Mortem and QRA.
- Experience preparing and presenting risk information to Board-level stakeholders, Project Directors and Senior Project Managers.
