RFIC silicon lab validation engineer (m/w/d)

For a renowned technology company in the consumer electronics and telecommunications industry, we are looking for an experienced RFIC silicon lab validation engineer (m/w/d) to support and further develop test environments, measurement campaigns and test automation.
Your Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain test environments and remote-control infrastructure
- Build, calibrate and modify test benches, including DUT exchange
- Upgrade test setups by integrating new test systems and expanding the test scope
- Operate RF measurement equipment for cellular standards in non-signalling mode
- Support RF measurement campaigns and validate the quality and completeness of measurement results
- Analyze issues, identify root causes and develop solutions or workarounds
- Integrate quality improvements into test routines, e.g. temperature chamber cycling and test-system self-tests
- Develop visualization features for test results
- Develop test automation using Python scripting
- Check test systems, identify malfunctions and support root-cause analysis
- Coordinate with lab management regarding repairs, calibration, orders and instrument firmware updates
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, RF Engineering or a comparable field
- Experience with RF measurement equipment and test setups
- Good understanding of cellular communication standards and RF measurements
- Experience in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Experience with Python and test automation
- Analytical and structured approach to problem solving
- Hands-on mentality and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Fluent English skills
