Our client is a leading renewable energy developer delivering a €120M green hydrogen production facility in Bremen. They are seeking an experienced freelance Project Manager to lead the engineering, construction, and commissioning phases of this flagship project, which will supply green hydrogen to industrial and maritime customers across Northern Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project lifecycle from detailed engineering through construction and handover.
- Coordinate EPC contractors, suppliers, consultants, and client stakeholders.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement activities, and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reporting to senior leadership.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within hydrogen, energy, industrial, process plant, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
- Strong knowledge of cost control, scheduling, and contract management.
- Fluent German and English.
- PMP, IPMA, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
