Program Manager – Infrastructure & Site Upgrades

- Duration: 12-month contract (high possibility of extension)
About the Role
We are looking for a Program Manager to lead infrastructure and site-upgrade projects within a large-scale logistics and operations company.
You will drive projects that improve and expand delivery stations across Europe, working at the intersection of operations, construction, engineering, and data analytics. This is a hands-on, high-impact role combining strategy, execution, and cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end infrastructure and site upgrade projects (delivery stations, warehouses, operational facilities)
• Plan and execute improvements to optimize workflows, capacity, and performance
• Partner cross-functionally with:
- Engineering
- Design & Construction
- Finance
- Real Estate
- Operations
• Build data-driven business cases and present recommendations to senior leadership
• Use Excel and SQL to analyze data, model scenarios, and support decisions
• Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization across sites
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at high quality
Requirements
• Strong experience in program or project management
• Proven track record delivering infrastructure, construction, or operational site projects (e.g., warehouses, distribution centers, logistics facilities)
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Working knowledge of SQL (mandatory)
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
• Experience driving process improvement, automation, or standardization
Ideal Background
• Logistics, supply chain, or operations environments
• Experience with site expansion, upgrades, or network optimization
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership
Disqualifiers
• No Excel / SQL capability
• No project management experience
• Pure IT / software project management background
• No experience working across multiple teams
• No exposure to physical-site or operational improvements
