Ingenieure und technische Berufe

We're partnering with a VC-backed, fast-growing Berlin startup using AI to transform how medical and clinical information reaches healthcare professionals and patients.

They're looking for a Product Engineer who thinks beyond code, someone who understands user needs, spots friction in workflows, and turns insights into meaningful product improvements.

Your mission

You'll work across the stack, combining engineering excellence with product thinking. Your focus: build intuitive user journeys, solve real customer problems, and help shape what gets built next. This isn't a role where you simply implement specs. You'll have a voice in product decisions, work closely with the founding team, and connect your engineering choices to real user outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Build and improve the web application powering an AI-driven healthcare product.
  • Identify friction in user journeys and turn insights into better workflows and product decisions.
  • Partner with product and design to turn strategic priorities into shipped features.
  • Use data and user behavior to inform prioritization and product improvements.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and the product's technical direction.
  • Write clean, tested, maintainable code.

What we're looking for

  • Strong engineering fundamentals and a genuine appetite for solving ambiguous problems.
  • An analytical, product-minded approach: you understand the why behind what you build.
  • Experience across modern frontend and backend web development.
  • Strong communication and a collaborative mindset — your voice matters in a small team.
  • A genuine interest in the end-to-end user experience, not just the code.

Nice to have:

  • Python and modern JavaScript framework experience.
  • Experience with AI/ML-driven products.
  • Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Side projects or open-source work that demonstrate your product thinking.

What's on offer:

  • A high-impact role in a small, ambitious team building AI for healthcare.
  • Real influence on product direction and technical decisions.
  • Direct collaboration with the founding team.
  • Hybrid setup: approximately 70% on-site, 30% remote.
  • Competitive salary and benefits.
  • Berlin-based team.
