For our Client – a well-established German engineering company, part of an international industrial group, specializing in the design, manufacturing and modernization of roll machining solutions for the steel and metal processing industry – we are searching for a Candidate for the position of:

MECHANICAL PROJECT MANAGER

(Siegen, Germany)

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering projects related to roll machining and special-purpose machinery.
• Plan, supervise and execute projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and according to quality standards.
• Functionally lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate project activities across different departments.
• Serve as the main technical contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, building strong and long-term relationships.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project schedules, costs and risks, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Participate in occasional business trips to customer sites in Germany and abroad.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related engineering field.
• 3 years of experience in project management or mechanical engineering within the special-purpose machinery industry.
• Experience in coordinating or leading project teams will be considered an advantage.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a structured and results-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cooperate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits.
