IT System administrator – Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365 - (3 Days WFH) - C1 German
We’re looking for an experienced IT professional to take ownership of the day-to-day internal IT environment, infrastructure, and user support.
The role is a good mix of hands-on administration, infrastructure, security and internal projects. You’ll have plenty of autonomy and will also work closely with technical teams and external partners.
Your Tasks
- Managing and developing the company’s internal IT environment
- Setting up and managing user accounts, permissions and access throughout the employee lifecycle
- Troubleshooting technical issues and making sure problems are properly resolved rather than repeatedly patched
- Administering Windows and Linux server environments
- Supporting cloud infrastructure and helping with the ongoing move towards cloud-based services
- Managing Microsoft 365, identity services and other SaaS platforms
- Improving IT security, backup processes and general infrastructure resilience
- Working with external IT providers and coordinating technical requirements
- Supporting developers and other technical teams with infrastructure, access and security topics
- Planning and delivering internal IT / infrastructure projects
- Making practical use of AI tools where they can improve internal processes and day-to-day work
Your profile
- Professional IT training, an IT-related degree or equivalent practical experience
- Several years’ experience in IT administration, infrastructure, or system support
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments, particularly Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID
- Good understanding of IT security, backups and access management
- Comfortable working with PowerShell or similar scripting and automation tools
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including switching, routing, and network segmentation
- Experience with change and configuration management
- Experience working with both Windows and Linux environments
- Kubernetes knowledge would be useful, but is not essential
- Very good German and solid technical English
