Location

  • Office based in Düsseldorf
  • Rotating project/construction sites across Germany, primarily between Emden and Düsseldorf
  • Frequent travel required (including overnight stays)

Role Overview


As SHE Site/Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing all Safety, Health, Environment and Sustainability (SHE) aspects across the company's project sites.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and support the project team on all SHE-related matters
  • Identify and mitigate risks during the transport, installation, and commissioning of cable systems
  • Ensure permits and SHE-related requirements are properly managed and documented in the obligations register, working closely with the client and subcontractors
  • Coordinate required SHEQS documentation with the client
  • Collaborate with construction, cable-laying, and subcontractor teams to establish shared project objectives and communication channels
  • Identify, analyze, and evaluate health, safety, and environmental risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare SHE reports and escalate in line with SHE guidelines
  • Implement the project's safety management plan, and record, assess, and report all deviations in accordance with SHE guidelines
  • Participate in safety meetings and audits
  • Organize safety training for project staff
  • Monitor the SHE performance of contractors and other third parties


Candidate Profile


Required:

  • Certified "Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit" (Safety Engineer) in accordance with the German Occupational Safety Act (§ 7 ASiG) and DGUV Regulation 2
  • Fluent English and German (C1), written and spoken
  • At least 3 years' professional experience as an HSE Supervisor in the construction industry in Germany
  • Completed safety-related professional training/qualification
  • Confident use of MS Office
  • Residency in Germany or valid work permit and visa
  • Willingness to travel (including overnight stays)
  • Valid Class B driving licence
