As our business continues to grow, we are looking to strengthen our HSEQ team in Frankfurt.
We are recruiting at either HSE Advisor or HSE Manager level. The job title, level of responsibility and salary will be aligned with the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The Role
You will play a key role in promoting a positive health, safety and environmental culture across our construction projects.
Working closely with project teams, subcontractors and clients, you will help ensure our projects are delivered safely, compliantly and in line with German legislation and Glent’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Promote a proactive health, safety and environmental culture across site
• Carry out site inspections, audits and risk assessments
• Develop, review and implement HSE procedures and site specific documentation
• Prepare and review RAMS for planned works
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and HSE training
• Investigate incidents and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented
• Maintain accurate HSE records and statutory documentation
• Produce monthly HSEQ reports and monitor key performance indicators
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and relevant authorities on HSE matters
• Support continuous improvement across all aspects of health, safety and environmental performance
About You
We would like to hear from candidates who have:
• Construction HSE experience, ideally within data centres, industrial or other large scale construction projects
• A recognised HSE qualification such as NEBOSH, Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit, or an equivalent professional qualification
• Good knowledge of German health and safety legislation
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and collaborative approach
• The ability to build positive working relationships at all levels
• Fluency in English. German language skills would be an advantage but are not essential
• An EU passport or an existing legal right to live and work in Germany
Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Experience in fast track or mission critical construction environments would be an advantage.
