The situation
- Mid-sized producer, currently in a major restructuring — the company is not named until the first call.
- Planning today runs on a grown Excel landscape + ERP.
- You are hired with a mandate from the Geschäftsführung to find the ideal process.
Your responsibilities
- Own procurement, disposition, inventory and internal logistics end to end.
- Hold service level while bringing inventory range down — both, not one at the cost of the other.
- Lead and develop a team of operational buyers and planners.
- Renegotiate the supplier base and secure availability of critical raw materials and packaging.
- Report directly to the Geschäftsführung; prepare and defend the investment decisions in your area.
Your profile
- 8+ years in materials management, procurement or supply chain in industrial production — food & beverage is a plus, not a must.
- Proven track record of reducing inventory without losing delivery reliability.
- Industriekaufmann/-frau, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, BWL or comparable.
- Confident with ERP (SAP, proALPHA, Infor or similar) and with data — and clear that the final planning decision stays with a human.
- German fluent, English solid.
- Comfortable in a restructuring: direct communication, unfinished processes, fast decisions.

Ihre Aufgaben
- Gesamtverantwortung für Einkauf, Disposition, Bestände und Innenlogistik.
- Lieferfähigkeit halten und gleichzeitig die Bestandsreichweite senken — beides, nicht eines auf Kosten des anderen.
- Führung und Entwicklung eines Teams aus operativen Einkäufern und Disponenten.
- Neuverhandlung der Lieferantenbasis und Sicherung der Verfügbarkeit kritischer Roh-, Hilfs- und Verpackungsstoffe.
- Direkte Berichtslinie an die Geschäftsführung; Vorbereitung und Vertretung der Investitionsentscheidungen im eigenen Bereich.
Ihr Profil
- 8+ Jahre in Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf oder Supply Chain in der industriellen Fertigung — Lebensmittel/Getränke von Vorteil, keine Bedingung.
- Nachweisbare Erfolge in der Bestandssenkung ohne Verlust an Liefertreue.
- Industriekaufmann/-frau, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, BWL oder vergleichbar.
- Sicher im ERP (SAP, proALPHA, Infor o. ä.) und im Umgang mit Daten — und überzeugt davon, dass die finale Dispositionsentscheidung beim Menschen bleibt.
- Deutsch verhandlungssicher, Englisch gut.
- Belastbar im Restrukturierungsumfeld: direkte Kommunikation, unfertige Prozesse, schnelle Entscheidungen.
