About Us

Bellboy Robotics is a VC-backed startup building robots that work in complex, real-world commercial spaces. We go beyond factory automation. Our robots perceive, reason, and act in the real world, becoming part of the team.

We are already live in world-class hotels including Hilton, Marriott, Seminaris, and IHG, with demand doubling month over month.

Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Head of Operations to run our robot fleet across Europe.

You'll own everything that happens after a contract is signed: getting robots on site, getting them working, and keeping them working. You'll build and lead the operator team across Germany, Belgium, Italy, and the UK.

This is an operations leadership role for someone who likes being on site, fixing what is broken, and building a team that scales faster than the fleet does.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own robot uptime and service quality across every site
  • Recruit, train, and lead the operator team across multiple countries
  • Build and run the rota, including weekends, and remove single-person dependencies
  • Own deployment scheduling and hit every site's go-live date
  • Own the handover from engineering to operations at each new hotel
  • Act as the operational point of contact for hotel General Managers
  • Make sure billing starts within a week of every install
  • Publish weekly on robots working, robots per operator, and blockers per site
  • Continuously raise how many robots one operator can run

  • Requirements

    • 5+ years running frontline teams across multiple sites and countries
    • Experience in hotel operations, field service, logistics, or facilities management
    • Proven track record of building and scaling a distributed operational team
    • Fluent German and strong professional English
    • Comfortable in a hotel basement and in a General Manager's office on the same morning
    • Structured, data-driven, and comfortable being measured on a small number of hard numbers
    • Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
    • Willing to travel regularly across Germany, Belgium, Italy, and the UK
    • No robotics background required. This is an operations role.

    Compensation & Working Structure

    • Full time, permanent position
    • Remote within Germany, with regular travel to sites
