Job Overview
- The Finance Operations Manager, Xiaomi EV Europe is part of Xiaomi’s European HQ and leads finance operations across the vehicle order-to-delivery journey.
- The role focuses on scalable finance workflows for payment readiness, invoicing, leasing, funding, dealer payments, payment allocation, revenue readiness, collections, reconciliation and finance-related delivery clearance.
- This position acts as the bridge between European business operations, local market teams, Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Sales, Delivery, IT, Product, HQ teams and external partners such as banks, leasing providers, dealers, dealership markets, payment providers and financial service partners.
- The goal is to ensure that every vehicle can move through the order-to-delivery process without finance-related blockers, while improving cash visibility, payment accuracy, partner control and operational scalability for Xiaomi’s European vehicle business.
Your Job
- Own the European finance operations framework across delivery readiness, leasing, financing, invoicing, payments, collections, revenue readiness and financial delivery clearance.
- Monitor incoming payments from retail customers, fleet customers, leasing companies, banks, financial partners, dealers and FSD dealership markets.
- Ensure payments from FSD dealership markets are received, tracked, allocated, reconciled and escalated where required.
- Manage payment allocation across customer orders, vehicle invoices, dealer accounts, leasing settlements, internal finance records and physical bank accounts.
- Identify and resolve underpayments, overpayments, duplicate payments, missing payment references, delayed payments, unapplied cash and other payment discrepancies.
- Work with Accounting and Treasury to improve cash visibility, reconciliation accuracy, bank statement usage and payment allocation controls.
- Ensure financial readiness before vehicle handover, including payment confirmation, invoice accuracy, leasing approval, funding status and delivery clearance.
- Translate finance operations requirements into process flows, business requirements, controls, reporting needs, system improvements and automation initiatives.
- Build finance operations KPIs, dashboards and governance routines covering payment allocation accuracy, dealer receivables, overdue payments, funding delays, finance clearance and delivery blockers.
- Strengthen audit readiness, internal controls, approval workflows, compliance routines and financial process governance across European finance operations.
- Manage finance operations cases related to refunds, credit notes, payment reversals and transaction adjustments.
Your Profile
- Experience in finance operations, sales operations, delivery operations, automotive finance, leasing operations, order-to-cash, accounts receivable, collections or a similar operational finance role.
- Experience in automotive, EV, mobility, leasing, banking, dealership, retail or another complex operational environment.
- Strong understanding of payment flows, invoicing, collections, revenue readiness, reconciliation, dealer payments, financial controls and order-to-delivery processes.
- Experience working with banks, leasing companies, dealers, fleet customers, financial service providers or payment partners.
- Ability to manage finance-related operational complexity across multiple markets, sales channels and stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to identify payment issues, prioritize improvements, reduce recurring errors and measure business impact.
- High attention to detail and strong ownership of financial accuracy, payment readiness and transaction control.
- Experience working with CRM, OMS, ERP, billing, payment, treasury, banking, leasing, dealer or finance operations systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Sales, Delivery, HQ, local market and external partner teams.
