Embedded Software Engineer | Automotive AI | Multiple roles

I am hiring for a global autonomous driving business building the AUTOSAR platform behind their self-driving stack. Several roles open, and the programme runs well into next year.

The role

▪️ Developing and configuring AUTOSAR modules below the RTE, and building components on top of it

▪️ Diagnostics, UDS, bootloader and OEM specific work

▪️ Debugging on bench and in vehicle with Lauterbach, DLT and XCP

▪️ Design documents, SW requirements, unit tests and bi-directional traceability

▪️ Root cause analysis on problems nobody has solved yet

Requirements

▪️ 4+ years of embedded software in automotive

▪️ AUTOSAR depth, Classic essential, Adaptive a strong advantage

▪️ Genuinely strong C. There is a coding task and it is not a formality

▪️ Breadth across embedded, integration and requirements. Narrow single-component profiles struggle here

Good to have

NXP, QNX, EB tresos or Vector DaVinci, CANoe, Python or CAPL, ASPICE, ISO 26262, MISRA C.

The practicalities:

▪️ Koblenz area, 3 days per week on site

▪️ English is sufficient. German is not required

▪️ Competitive package with room to move for the right person
