Electrical Project Manager
Location: Frankfurt, Germany
Salary: €120,000 – €140,000 + rotation package
Role Type: Permanent / On-site
Our client is a well-established building services contractor with over 45 years of experience delivering complex Mechanical and Electrical projects across Europe.
The business has extensive experience across sectors including Data Centres, Industrial, Logistics, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Commercial, Energy and High-End Residential.
With a strong track record of delivering large-scale projects across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe, the organisation provides end-to-end building services from design and installation through to commissioning and ongoing maintenance.
The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a major project in Frankfurt, Germany.
You will take responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical works on a large-scale project, working closely with the client, main contractor, subcontractors and internal project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend project start-up meetings and become familiar with project specifications and requirements.
- Manage and coordinate technical submittals through to approval.
- Raise and manage RFIs.
- Manage labour trackers and workforce requirements.
- Maintain weekly progress reports and manage changes and variations.
- Liaise with main contractors and client-side site teams.
- Oversee the coordination and delivery of plant and equipment.
- Ensure sufficient materials are available to maintain project progress.
- Develop and implement construction and commissioning programmes.
- Manage commissioning activities and ensure the project commissioning plan is delivered.
- Generate and manage regular snagging lists and improvement actions.
- Manage the project handover process and associated documentation.
- Maintain project-specific schedules and programmes.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure works are delivered on time.
- Attend general site meetings and manage actions arising.
- Identify innovative project-specific solutions and communicate these to senior management.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar position.
- Experience delivering Data Centre, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical, Industrial or large-scale Commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of LV/MV electrical systems.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale electrical projects.
- Construction or Project Management qualification preferred.
- Previous experience supervising and managing project teams.
- Demonstrable experience delivering projects within hospital or healthcare environments would be advantageous.
