We’re Hiring: Deputy Ground Operations Manager
As USC continues to expand its operations, we are looking for an experienced Deputy Ground Operations Manager to strengthen our team and support our existing Ground Operations Manager.
Key responsibilities:
• Deputise for the Ground Operations Manager when required
• Support the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of ground operations
• Coordinate with airports, ground handling agents and service providers
• Monitor station performance, turnaround processes and service quality
• Support new station openings and the expansion of our operational network
• Maintain ground operations manuals, procedures and documentation
• Conduct station audits and follow up on findings and corrective actions
• Support the management of irregular operations and operational disruptions
• Ensure compliance with applicable EU aviation regulations, company procedures and safety standards
Your profile:
• Relevant experience in airline ground operations or ground handling
• Good knowledge of EU aviation requirements and industry standards
• Experience with station management, audits and operational procedures
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain effective in a dynamic operational environment
• Very good English; German is an advantage
• Willingness to travel as operationally required
