About the Role
We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer (Energy Storage Systems), to support the on-site delivery and commissioning of our energy storage systems across the DACH region. In this role, you will act as a key technical representative during project execution, ensuring successful installation, commissioning, and handover of our systems to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-site delivery and technical implementation of energy storage systems, including:
- Pre-commissioning inspections
- Installation guidance and supervision
- Electrical wiring verification
- System energization and commissioning
- System integration, testing, and functional validation
- Interface with EPC contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues during project execution
- Conduct Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and support final project handover
- Provide technical recommendations and improvement solutions based on on-site findings
- Prepare commissioning documentation, technical reports, and handover records
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, Renewable Energy, or related fields
- Minimum 1 year of experience in project delivery, commissioning, or field engineering
- Hands-on experience with Commercial & Industrial (C&I) energy storage or power projects is strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Familiarity with energy storage system architecture, including LV/HV systems and grid connection principles
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive approach
- Willingness to travel frequently across Europe
- Fluent in English; German proficiency required for professional communication
