Responsibilities:
As one of our Clinical Application Specialists, you will be responsible providing expert technical and clinical application support to new and existing FUJIFILM HPB customers.
- Serve as the primary clinical expert for EUS and ERCP, supporting healthcare providers with education, training, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal clinical outcomes
- Conduct on-site and remote product demonstrations, trainings, and application support at hospitals and endoscopy centres
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and technical staff to understand clinical workflows and customize product usage accordingly
- Provide real-time clinical support during procedures, ensuring product functionality and addressing user questions or challenges
- Attend and support local, regional, and international scientific conferences, workshops, and trade shows to demonstrate products, network with clinical professionals, and stay informed about industry trends
- Gather and communicate feedback from clinical users regarding product performance and clinical needs
- Work with sales teams to support planning and execution of customer engagements, contributing clinical insights during sales cycles
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant clinical guidelines, technologies, and competitor products in the field of EUS and ERCP
- Collaborate with Product Managers and R&D teams to help define product features and improvements based on clinical user feedback and workflow insights
- Participate in user needs assessments, clinical trials, and validation studies to support product development lifecycle
- Help shape product positioning and messaging by providing inputs from clinical perspectives
- Assist in gathering and analysing market and competitor intelligence related to EUS and ERCP technologies
- Covering the European territory, supporting our direct and distributor markets
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Proven experience in ultrasound clinical application required
- Clinical background in gastroenterology, endoscopy, nursing, biomedical engineering, or related field preferred
- Hands-on experience with Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP procedures highly preferred
- Strong understanding of endoscopic instrumentation and clinical workflows
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with clinical and technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot clinical instrumentation and provide practical solutions
- Ability to travel frequently to customer sites as required (70%)
- Proficient experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Experience with Salesforce.com preferrable
- Problem-solving mindset with a passion for improving patient outcomes
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Very good written and verbal communication skills in English language are mandatory for the role. French, Italian, German, Spanish or other languages are a plus.
