In order to achieve our ambitious investment goals, the Investment Team of the Wascosa Group is looking for promising candidates to support our Investments, Financing & Treasury department in Hamburg or Lucerne.


Associate – Investments & Financing


We are looking for generalists who are not afraid to try new things. Experience with logistics assets is a plus but not necessary.


Your Role

  • Contribute to the development of our investment strategy with distinct focus on the European infrastructure market
  • Support in the analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities based on risk/ return criteria, as well as the management of M&A/ Due Diligence processes taking into account relevant considerations such as financing, legal requirements, risk, ESG etc.
  • Preparation of Investment Committee and Board related documents
  • Monitor existing investments against relevant performance measures and risk limits, and act as the main point of contact for relevant stakeholders (mainly financial institutions and shareholders) with questions in this area
  • Partially responsible for interdisciplinary tasks relating to group business planning, financing, treasury and Investor Relations


Your Profile

  • Excellent Master's degree in a relevant field of study (economics, business administration/ management & finance)
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the investment banking, deal advisory (“Big 4“), private equity or corporate M&A industry
  • Experience in the infrastructure industry or portfolio management is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of investment and valuation, practical experience in Investment Management is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency in using Microsoft Office (especially financial modelling in Excel, etc.)
  • Strong team player and skilled communicator
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, personal drive and a "getting things done" attitude
  • Strong results orientation and focus on implementation, ability to work towards tight deadlines
  • Fluency in German and English, written and spoken
