AOCS/GNCS Engineer

Linnk Group is supporting an established organisation within the European space industry seeking an experienced AOCS/GNC Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced satellite programmes.

You will work across the design, development, modelling and verification of Attitude and Orbit Control Systems / Guidance, Navigation and Control, supporting spacecraft programmes from early engineering studies through to customer acceptance.

The Role

You will:

• Design and develop spacecraft AOCS/GNC subsystems.
• Develop and verify guidance, navigation, estimation and control algorithms.
• Support development and verification of AOCS/GNC software.
• Conduct modelling, analysis and simulation campaigns.
• Develop and improve AOCS/GNC analysis and simulation tools.
• Support satellite programmes throughout development and customer acceptance.
• Contribute to new satellite proposals and system studies.
• Prepare technical engineering documentation.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Your Background

You will ideally have:

• A Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience within the space industry.
• Strong practical experience with spacecraft AOCS/GNC systems.
• Experience developing or verifying AOCS/GNC algorithms and software.
• Strong understanding of estimation and control theory.
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink or comparable engineering tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working within international engineering teams.
• Fluent English.
• German would be advantageous.
