Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced, visionary Academic Director to lead our academic programs, faculty development and educational strategy in Berlin, Germany. You will oversee curriculum design, maintain rigorous academic standards, foster institutional partnerships and ensure an exceptional learning experience for our diverse student body.
Key Details
- Position: Academic Director
- Location: Berlin, Germany (On-site)
- Employment Type: Full-Time (Urgent Hire)
- Salary: €40,000 / year
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Leadership: Direct and oversee all academic operations, program development and quality assurance.
- Faculty Management: Recruit, evaluate, and mentor international faculty members; promote teaching excellence and professional growth.
- Curriculum Innovation: Align curricula with global business trends, accreditation criteria and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Student Success & Engagement: Oversee academic advising, student retention and institutional policies.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with global partners, regulatory bodies and industry leaders to enhance academic offerings.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD (or DBA) in Business Administration, Management, Education or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience in higher education administration (e.g. Program Director, Dean or Academic Director).
- Track Record: Proven track record in curriculum design, academic accreditation and faculty management.
- Languages: High fluency in both English and German (written and spoken).
- Competencies: Exceptional communication, leadership and intercultural negotiation skills.
